Yeah, people are crazy!

I live in the same hometown as Billy Currington, of course we've never met, but recently he seems to be living up to his hit song. While living in his new home town of Tybee Island Ga, it appears that Billy doesn't want people harrassing him by driving past his dock on the very public Back River. According to the captain of the boat that drove past he began a vulgar screaming tirade from his dock, then got into boat and chased the captain and his two, by now very scared passengers to a local restaraunt to confront them for using the public waterway and made some very serious threats to the captain and yep, you guessed it, was treated to a luxury suite at the Chatham County Jail to the tune of $27,000 in bail.

His statement on the matter is that he is tired of artists bieng harrassed by the public..... the same public he courts to buy his music.... and pay to enter his concerts..... and buy his merchandise...... and watch his videos. Before his star rose and began to shine he courted the attention of the public. When he puts out new music he courts the attention of the public. Privacy was a non-issue. Wow. Don't worry Billy, the day is coming when your star doesn't shine so bright, and you'll crave the attention again, Celebrity apprentice perhaps. The public is as fickle as the day is long and they will move on the the next Billy superstar before you know it, and you'll have your peace. P.S. I'll not buy anymore of your music.
